Dany loves Halloween! He loves everything about it!... dressing up, the movies, candy, going out at night, the decorations, even being scared. The girls loved going out trick or treating but they didn't like their fairy wings. Were you cold this year during Halloween? Well, if you were in Phoenix it was a warm night and we got a bit hot since we were planning for chilly weather. Elizabeth went out with us and we all had a great time. It's amazing to see how the street comes to life with great decorations and people walking around on their costumes. By the way, Olivia did not see coming that Betsy could scare her. We were expecting sweet grandma Betsy and when Olivia open the door there was a Clown right in front of her succeeding at scaring her!... Dany found it very funny. Anyway, following the Mexican traditions Olivia made "Pan de Muerto" (bread of the dead) which turned out to be a big hit with the living ones. We set up an altar to honor and remember the dead. The offering included tamales, pan de muerto, candles, candy, fruit, and pictures of our love ones that have passed. Our girls were so good to the altar. They just wanted to look at it but didn't try to pull on the table cloth. Dany like usual likes to make changes to Olivia's decorations and the altar was not the exception. He loves making things "beautiful" for his mama.
