Fathers' Day

We started the celebration on Friday. We had a lot of fun going out to diner at a new stake/pasta place. We are very fortunate that all three kids do well at restaurants. Cristy and Lucy stay busy with cheerios and a piece of bread or tortilla. Dany takes part of the conversation and doesn't care much for the coloring but he just has fun interacting with his sisters. Then on Saturday we went to a very small Thai restaurant. The food is so good but, the place is so small that we keep wondering if the next time we go it's going to be closed. After diner we took a walk at the new shopping villa. It's like a small downtown but new. The kids had a lot of shops and a few play areas for the kids including a splash pad. All three kids had a lot of fun. By the way, Cristy is crawling and Lucy prefers to ask for a ride. Anyway, on Sunday at church at the end of sacrament Phillip was asked to come to the front to receive a fathers' day present. He received a pack of paper and scissors. The week before Dany was asked "What does your dad do in his free time?" he said "He cuts paper with scissors" It's true, Phillip likes to organize his CD collection and he cuts the labels with scissors. The other questions were fun too. "Why do you love your dad?", Dany said "He plays with me". "What does your dad do at work?", Dany said "He wants to come home". It's so funny and yet so nice to know that Phillip has done such a good job as a Dad. His kids know he loves them and he wants to be with them. Good job Phillip!
